Summary:
Plan, administer, evaluate and budget for the statewide infrastructure of broadcast and IT facilities for Idaho Public Television. To lead, motivate and develop technology department managers and staff.
Job Responsibilities:

35% Plan, administer, and evaluate statewide technology infrastructure and telecommunications facilities for Idaho Public Television, including:

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in:
Managing operation and or maintaining broadcast systems such as:
Typically gained by an associate’s degree, forty-five (45) semester units in broadcast technology electronics OR Equivalent technology trade school certification such as military electronics or related field. Equivalent to approximately 700 hours formal training OR 6+ years verifiable on the job experience troubleshooting and repairing broadcast technology electronics or equivalent technology.
Typically gained by at least one year of experience managing projects with at least one year in a leadership role. Experience must have included being responsible for the development (needs assessment, planning and budgeting) of the projects as well as being responsible for assessing the projects toward goals and project outcomes.
Comprehensive knowledge of:
Typically gained by 6+ years directly supervising a team OR master’s degree in related subject and 2 years relevant professional experience.
