This Building Safety Program Supervisor position is a great opportunity for a professional who's looking to provide consumer protection and public safety for all Idahoans.
Job Summary: To supervise a statewide construction component/building safety program or supervise regional staff in an assigned area of the state; perform related work.

Incumbents are responsible for supervising a specific program including planning, staffing, organizing operations and evaluating program effectiveness. The emphasis of the position is for program management and/or staff supervision rather than management of a department functional area.
These positions are considered the technical specialist within their field of discipline and are distinguished from the manager level by budget, scope, and program control. Some positions include crawling and moving material in confined spaces; exposure to hazardous materials and/or conditions; and climbing ladders and stairs.
