Make a difference and be part of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (IDHW) dedicated to enhancing and improving the quality of life for the citizens of Idaho. The IT Services Division of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is hiring an IT Modernization Architect to develop a roadmap for modernizing legacy systems, adopting new technology, policies and procedures to align IT architecture with business goals. This is a new position within the ITSD department. The architect IV will manage a staff of two IT Architect II's. This position is located in downtown Boise.
The IT Architecture team is responsible modernizing and streaming the existing IT Tech stack based on viability of the applications from a security, maintenance and governmental requirements. The team will lead the Department of Health and Welfare in modern application development, cloud adoption including cloud native architecture cloud services and adopting new applications to better serve both the employees of the Department of Health and Welfare as well as the citizens of Idaho.
This position will provide the highest-level agency on enterprise IT architecture to optimize organization's services and business assuring accomplishment of business strategy through the integration of business, information and technology architectures perform related work
This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.
