Do you have personal or professional experience within or in support of programs serving youth and families and/or the child welfare system? The Idaho Health & Welfare’s Congregate Care Bureau is hiring for a Clinical Supervisor to oversee a team of clinicians. The Congregate Care Bureau's mission: ensuring that youth receive the right level of care, the appropriate treatment, and the necessary duration of support. The incumbent would need to have technical and clinical expertise to help provide direction for the team.
This is a statewide position and will report to their nearest available DHW location.
This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.
IMPORTANT: Incumbents will be required to participate in the Child Welfare Academy in order to learn Idaho child welfare practices and standards and complete Child Welfare Academy assignments. During the probationary period, incumbents carry a reduced child welfare caseload under the guidance of child welfare supervisors or designated experienced child welfare social workers to gain knowledge and expertise necessary to provide professional child welfare services to children and families who are subjects of child abuse or neglect. *Some travel will be required.
The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace. Our generous benefits package increases the total compensation of a full-time (benefits eligible) Clinical Supervisor making $33.61 - $35.86/hour to an estimated $47.20 – $49.91/hour.
