Do you have personal or professional experience within or in support of programs serving youth and families and/or the child welfare system? The Idaho Health & Welfare’s Congregate Care Bureau is hiring for a Clinical Supervisor to oversee a team of clinicians. The Congregate Care Bureau's mission: ensuring that youth receive the right level of care, the appropriate treatment, and the necessary duration of support. The incumbent would need to have technical and clinical expertise to help provide direction for the team. 

This is a statewide position and will report to their nearest available DHW location.

This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.

IMPORTANT: Incumbents will be required to participate in the Child Welfare Academy in order to learn Idaho child welfare practices and standards and complete Child Welfare Academy assignments. During the probationary period, incumbents carry a reduced child welfare caseload under the guidance of child welfare supervisors or designated experienced child welfare social workers to gain knowledge and expertise necessary to provide professional child welfare services to children and families who are subjects of child abuse or neglect. *Some travel will be required.

Our generous benefits package increases the total compensation of a full-time (benefits eligible) Clinical Supervisor making $33.61 - $35.86/hour to an estimated $47.20 – $49.91/hour.

 EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:

• Supervise and provide technical expertise to a clinical and treatment team
• Manage a team of clinicians to include performance evaluations and workload schedules
• Provide specialized clinical/rehabilitative services
• Coordinates the program with outside services that may be available
• Organizes, coordinates, and participates with groups to develop a clear plan of support for service partnerships as well as clients and families.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIALTY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

You must possess all the minimum/specialty qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. • Some knowledge of supervisory practices. Typically gained through completion of a class or seminar (of more than 1 day) specifically covering supervisory practices or the elements of supervision OR completion of a college-level personnel-related courses covering supervisory practices OR lead work experience that involved work assignment, direction, and monitoring of staff.
• Some knowledge of community organization/development principles and processes. Typically gained by completion of community organization/development course or workshops equivalent to three semester hours of college credit or 40 classroom hours OR direct services role in case management or psychosocial or rehabilitative therapy or counseling and applying these principles in a community development role. 
• Experience providing social or treatment services in clinical and community-based treatment services in clinical and community-based treatment settings. Typically gained by at least two year's experience, post-Master's degree, providing direct clinical services/practice conducting assessments, crisis interventions, case management, treatment plans, therapy, follow-up, evaluations, treatment, reports, etc., for clients in a community-based setting, project or program.
• Experience providing in-service skills training to professional staff. Typically gained through leadwork/team leader, or supervisory or managerial assignments where you developed and conducted in-service skills training for individual or groups. 

SPECIALTY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• This position requires licensure in one of the following: Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). For licensure information please contact the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licenses at http://ibol.idaho.gov/ or 208-334-3233
