There has never been a better time to join the Idaho State Police (ISP)! ISP is a dynamic force in the mix of entities that provide public safety services to Idaho's citizens and visitors. In this role you contribute to that cause in supporting our almost 600 employees by providing essential services through our extensive technical and professional expertise. The Idaho State Police is seeking to fill up to three full-time Technical Records Specialist 2 positions in our Meridian office to support the Idaho Public Safety and Security Information System (commonly known as ILETS). ILETS is a secure statewide network facilitating critical communication among local, state, federal, and Tribal law enforcement agencies.
These positions are required to work up to 12 hour shift work. Shift work means working weekends, holidays, and nights on a rotating basis within the ILETS Control Center (ICC) which is a 24-hour operations center.
PLEASE NOTE: The successful applicant will be required to complete a background investigation and polygraph examination, which includes drug screening. Please review the ISP Professional Standards prior to applying for this position.
