The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is currently recruiting for a Temporary Laboratory Technician in the Plant Pathology Laboratory located in Boise.

These qualifications are mandatory requirements
Experience:
These areas of the minimum qualifications can be typically gained by at least eight semester college credits in chemistry, microbiology, or biology, with a laboratory as part of the course OR at least one year of experience (within the last fifteen years), with in-service training, as laboratory assistant in a certified or research laboratory using standard laboratory equipment to include autoclave, centrifuge, and scales.
Temporary appointments from this announcement, serving at least one thousand forty (1,040) hours of continuous service, may be hired as an entrance probationary employee without further examination for the same classification and location as announced.
