The Idaho State Police (ISP) has a current opening for a POST Training Coordinator 1 with in Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) in Meridian.
Incumbents in this position need a strong criminal justice foundation to deal effectively with issues uniquely related to officer performance and equipment. Incumbents must be well versed in the law enforcement profession and have knowledge of patrol procedures, detention procedures, correction officer procedures, acceptable administrative practices, and a strong ability to build relationships. Incumbents must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and must pass an extensive background investigation and polygraph test.
