SUMMARY
Idaho Public Television has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, organized, detail oriented, process loving, Human Resources person to become a part of our Human Resources team. We are looking for a Human Resources person to help with processing Payroll, Onboarding, Benefits and more.
This position is funded by Idaho Public Television, and reports to the Director of Finance, is part-time, less than 20 hours/week, non-benefitted, and long-term. This position works closely with the agencies Human Resource Business Partner from the Department of Human Resources. A typical work week is 19.5 hours. Schedule will be determined at time of offer. This is a in person position and flexibility may be available after initial orientation and training period.
This is the first of a multi-level professional Human Resource job family. The half time work schedule is conducive to students in upper-level human resource course work, human resource professionals who want to work a less demanding schedule for work-life balance or want to explore public sector human resource management and payroll.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Idaho Public Television is seeking someone with existing knowledge, education, or experience in payroll and human resources. The idea candidate would be highly organized, have an attention to detail, like working in Excel, and have the skillset to excel in Idaho Luma financial system. Most of all this person must come with a positive approach to customer service to maintain and attract a dynamic and creative staff that supports the programs Idahoans love to watch.
As the HR Associate, you would contribute directly to upholding Idaho Public Television’s vision to be an accessible and trusted resource that challenges the mind, sparks curiosity, further enables education and learning, and promotes understanding. The Human Resource Associate performs a variety of administrative support activities that are integral to the State's Human Resource information processing such as:
