Full-Time Front Office Assistant

Schedule is M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm

The State of Idaho Controller's Office is an equal opportunity employer. This position is exempt from state classified service, and the rules of the Division of Human Resources and the Idaho Personnel Commission. This is an at-will position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Division of Administration employee who works directly under the Division Administrator. Responsibilities include front-line customer service in person and/or by telephone, and performing additional duties as assigned.

Job Functions:

· Main responsibility is to provide front-line customer service in person and/or by telephone.

· Performs basic office support functions such as: Data entry, filing, and mail distribution, supply ordering and record keeping.

· Maintains office employee lists for routing and phones.

· Supports Management Team with scheduling and projects as needed.

Additional Functions:

· Contributes to the positive performance of the Division of Administration and the office.

· Demonstrates timely and consistent attendance.

· Any additional duties as assigned by State Controller or his/her designee.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Good knowledge of: Basic office functions; Excel, Word, Outlook and Sharepoint.

· Must have a strong sense of customer service and professionalism, even in a sometimes-stressful environment. Have experience with understanding phone and email etiquette.

· Ability and willingness to work as a team member.

· Must be able to complete assigned tasks individually, as well as work cooperatively as a team to complete projects.

· Should be consistent, thorough and accurate in the performance of job duties.

· Understand and follow best practices to protect sensitive and confidential information such as SSN’s and banking information.

    · Must maintain a consistent and reliable attendance throughout the regularly scheduled workweek.
