Central District Health (CDH) is currently searching for a motivated individual to join our dedicated group of public health professionals as a Risk Reduction Program Manager in our Health Policy and Promotion program.

Typical Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate program(s) sub grant deliverables;
  • Track and monitor the progress toward performance measures and oversee the collection of relevant data to share with agency leadership in order to evaluate program(s)/outreach efforts, successes, and challenges;
  • Utilize data analytics and other assessment tools to identify progress toward program/division/department goals and objectives;
  • Prepare and monitor program budget(s) and approve expenditures to stay within budget(s), in collaboration with division administrator;
  • Supervise staff, including but not limited to: hiring, training and evaluating performance of staff using agency processes and templates;
  • Monitor quality of work and coach staff for performance improvement, as indicated;
  • Work closely with funding partners and agency leadership to meet overall agency goals and objectives;
  • May assist during public health emergencies and to participate in agency training(s) as deemed appropriate by supervisor and/or agency leadership;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Good knowledge of:

· Public health principles and practices.

Experience:

· Participating in the development and implementation of public health operating policies and procedures;

· Interpreting and applying federal and state public health laws;

· Collecting and organizing public health data and developing technical reports;

· Analyzing public health program issues and making recommendations;

· Possession of a valid Driver's License OR acquisition of a valid Driver's License upon selection for employment and throughout the duration of employment.
