Description
As a Park Ranger at Bear Lake State Park, you'll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in preserving the natural beauty and captivating environment of this unique park located in the southeastern corner of Idaho near the Cache Mountain range. Bear Lake State Park is a popular destination for water lovers, welcoming approximately 15,000 campers annually. With its intense, turquoise-colored water, often referred to as the "Caribbean of the Rockies," and a vast swimming area in the summer, it's a water lover's paradise. In the winter, the park offers the unique experience of ice fishing for the Bonneville cisco, a fish found nowhere else on earth. In this dynamic role, you will primarily focus on essential maintenance tasks, ensuring that this natural wonder remains pristine and accessible to all who seek the great outdoors. In addition to maintenance, you will also be responsible for various ranger duties, including code enforcement, to ensure the safety and enjoyment of park visitors.
If you're passionate about safeguarding diverse ecosystems, maintaining the allure of Bear Lake State Park, and effectively enforcing park rules and regulations, we invite you to join our team as a Park Ranger.
Help us continue to create a welcoming haven for outdoor enthusiasts amid the natural wonders of Bear Lake!
