The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Division of Self-Reliance is hiring an Operations Bureau Chief. The focus of this position is to lead and support three of the Division of Self-Reliance’s Processing Centers which will include the Idaho Falls Processing Center, the Treasure Valley Processing Center, and our Customer Service Center. This Bureau Chief is responsible for providing leadership and direction to these units and implementing effective statewide program strategies based on policy and operational requirements. This individual will work closely with our existing Operations Bureau Chief as well as their peers and executive leadership to ensure program integrity is met.
This is a statewide position and will report to their nearest DHW location.
As of 7/1/25 this will be a non-classified position and exempt from classified state service and the rules of the Division of Human Resources and the Idaho Personnel Commission.
This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time.
