TYPE OF POSITION: Military non-classified
SUMMARY: This position is assigned to the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO), Orchard Combat Training Center (OCTC), Idaho Army National Guard (IDARNG), functioning within the State of Idaho – Military Division. The primary purpose of these positions is to operate, inspect and maintain construction equipment in support of the road network and firing ranges within the OCTC and projects in support of the IDARNG’s Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) Program to include Range and Training Land Assessment (RTLA) and the Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM).

MILITARY DIVISION MANDATORY QUESTIONS:

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
(1) Must be an enlisted member (E-6 and below) of the Idaho National Guard. Provide your military grade, job title, MOS/AFSC and unit of assignment.
(2) Must have and maintain a valid and unrestricted state issued driver’s license (from any state), and the ability to obtain a military driver’s license to operate vehicles and specialized equipment. Provide your driver’s license number, issuing state, license expiration date, and the full name specified on the license. (Do not provide a copy of your driver’s license.)
(3) Must have, or be eligible to obtain, and maintain a favorable NACI/T1 Federal Background Investigation. If a selected candidate does not have a current favorable NACI/T1, as a condition of employment he/she must submit to the investigation process immediately upon hire/appointment.
(4) Preference experience or certification (not mandatory). If applicable, identify how you meet the stated requirement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Must have 12-months of specialized experience performing duties
(1) Ability to operate 1 to 10-ton dump trucks, bulldozers, 2 ½ to 5-yard front end loaders, grader, backhoe, 5 to 20-ton tractor and trailer with accessories.
(2) Knowledge of operator safety programs.
(3) Ability to interpret and implement instructions contained in various operator manuals.
(4) Knowledge of road network maintenance requirements.
(5) Ability to interpret work orders and implement project instructions.
(6) Ability to perform project status reports.
(7) Ability to prepare a project work plan.
