Example of Duties:
Provides leadership, oversight, and management of the Building Program for the Building, Construction, and Real Estate Bureau of the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses. This program supports all building permitting and inspections throughout Idaho. The program manager serves as the subject matter expert for the building Program. Works closely with other trades program managers, as well as licensing and compliance staff within the Division.
Responsibilities include overseeing operational staff within the building inspection program, including providing support and guidance to relevant supervisors and inspectors; overseeing the procedures and processes in carrying out the functions of the building program; ensuring that the program operates according to the statutes, rules and policies; and facilitating appropriate and effective communication between the Division and stakeholders, state government, and the public.
