The Idaho Division of Veterans Services (IDVS) is seeking a dynamic LPN to complete our team at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Post Falls! Join us in caring for America's Heroes and be a part of a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact. The ideal candidate in this role will perform practical nursing care or assist a registered nurse or physician in a long-term care facility setting.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the state of Idaho
OR
State licensure as a Practical Nurse pursuant to the Nurse Licensure Compact, Idaho Code 54-1418, in one of the following compact states: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin or Wyoming
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience providing individual or group patient education
Work experience in a plan-of-care approach to patient care
Experience providing work direction and orientation to other workers
Clearance:
The Idaho Division of Veterans Services requires applicants to pass a criminal history background investigation after a conditional offer of employment.
