*THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE OPEN UNTIL FILLED. APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO BE CONSIDERED.*
The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare's Division of Medicaid is recruiting a Compliance Officer at our Boise location. Medicaid currently helps 330,000 Idahoans with low incomes and disabilities access medical care, behavioral health care, and other critical supports so that they can lead healthy and independent lives. This position will report to the Medicaid Deputy Administrator.
We are seeking a candidate with a legal background who is proactive, detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and eager to help develop solutions. The Compliance Officer will support Medicaid in maintaining compliance with legal standards and identifying areas for improvement in oversight. The position will work closely with the policy team and the Bureau of Care Management, the Bureau of the Idaho Behavioral Health Plan, the Bureau of Long Term Care, and the Bureau of Developmental Disability Services. In the future this position will also support Children's Developmental Disability Services. The position will be responsible for recommending contract, program, and process changes to help the bureau chiefs develop and implement corrective action plans for state and federal audits. The Compliance Officer will also lead strategic planning to support long-term improvements in transparency, accountability, and oversight.
This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training.
