If so, the Division of Medicaid's Policy and Innovation team has an opening for a Medicaid Program Policy Analyst that could be for you. A policy analyst primarily reviews state and federal regulations, conducts research, writes policies and makes recommendations for program changes and coverage. They may also assist with federal reporting, making amendments to the Idaho Medicaid state plan and waivers, drafting changes to Idaho rules and statutes as well as other tasks. There may even be an opportunity for travel to attend a national conference. This is a statewide position and you would be reporting to your nearest DHW office.
This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training.

Good knowledge of health care delivery systems. Typically gained by
completion of college courses covering health care delivery systems (such as nursing, medicine, medical social work, psychology, developmental disabilities, public health administration, health education) AND three years of experience working as a professional e.g. social worker, nurse, physical therapist, etc.; OR at least five years of experience as a professional in a managerial/administrative role which required in-depth knowledge of health care delivery systems.Below is preferred experience. It is not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants.
