The Idaho Department of Insurance (DOI) is searching for a Fraud Investigator. This role will report directly to the Investigations supervisor in the Consumer Services Bureau. This is a full-time position located in downtown Boise. Some travel and extended working hours may be involved. This role will be supported and trained by the DOI Fraud Investigations unit.

Preferred candidates will have (if you possess any of the following, please reference them in your resume and cover letter): At least two or more years of professional work experience as an insurance adjuster, law enforcement officer, insurance investigator (SIU), or performing similar work at a high level with minimal supervision. Membership in professional societies such as Certified Fraud Examiner or Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator is beneficial, but the investigator will have the opportunity to obtain these certifications after hired. Four-year degree in Criminal Justice or Administration of Criminal Justice.
