The Idaho Department of Labor is seeking to fill a full-time bureau chief position for Research and Communications. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for serving Idahoans and a deep understanding of Idaho’s economy and labor market, as well as excellent communication, leadership and management skills. Under the supervision of the Administrative Services administrator, this position is an executive leadership role responsible for managing the operations of the Research and Analysis, Public Affairs and Communications teams.

Experience
Preferred Qualifications-These qualifications are not required for the position but applicants with this experience may receive consideration over other applicants.
Experience using computer database, statistical analysis, or spreadsheet software applications to make inquiries or extract data. Typically met through at least one year of experience using database software package such as MS Access, Dbase to manipulate data and generate reports AND one year of experience using spreadsheet software such as MS Excel to develop and maintain spreadsheet data.
