Information Technology Services (ITS) currently has an opening for an IT Systems and Infrastructure Engineer III in our Chinden office in Boise as part of the Application Hosting team.
This position will primarily be focused on administering, troubleshooting, upgrading, designing and configuring Laserfiche services and business processes with State of Idaho Agencies; including systems administration, installation, and maintenance; provide leadership in the design, enhancement, implementation, user training, and consultation on Forms and Workflow Design. This position may assist the Hosting team in administering and troubleshooting Hosted applications and Microsoft O365 applications including but not limited to Teams, One Drive, SharePoint and Power Applications. A basic understanding of Windows Server administration is preferred.
Please note: The successful candidates will be required to pass multiple, comprehensive fingerprint-based background checks specific to the agencies ITS supports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Considerable knowledge of current information technology trends and capabilities.
Typically gained by a bachelor's degree directly related to information technology OR at least four years of work experience in information technology. Education and experience must be within the last five years.
Experience planning, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting network, server, or storage systems.
Typically met by at least four years of full-time work experience where planning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network, server or storage systems was part of the primary job responsibilities.
Resolving network or server problems.
Typically met by at least four years of full-time work experience (within the last five years) where resolving network or server problems was part of the primary responsibilities.
Working with end users to develop and implement information technology solutions for user computing needs in a business environment.
Typically gained by at least four years of full-time work experience where interviewing and consulting with clients/users to develop and implement solutions to meet computing requirements in a business environment was part of the primary responsibilities.
Experience as a technical lead implementing or supporting network, server, or storage systems.
Typically gained by at least four years of full-time job experience where work as a technical lead implementing or supporting network, server or storage systems was part of the primary job responsibilities.
