The Idaho Transportation Department has an opening for a Program Manager located at our current Headquarters office in Boise within the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Our Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Team is responsible for legislative tasks, public record requests, data reporting and sharing, and county liaison team. This team researches federal regulations, Idaho Code, Idaho Administrative Rule and determines appropriate courses of action based on facts gathered. Position will work closely with business units to implement changes. Position interacts with political figures, board members, along with other internal and external stakeholders which requires the manager to be skilled in communication. Role oversees advisory board meeting agendas and presentations. Crucial partnerships are supported within this role. This is a public role, and requires representation at legislative committees.

Minimum Qualifications: 

 Some knowledge of management practices. 

Experience: technical proficiency, problem-solving, communication, and program area training. 

Desired Qualification: 

  • Experience with DMV Programs
  • Public speaking
  • Legislative outreach experience
