Examples of Duties:

  • Perform functions supporting various DOPL programs and regulatory Boards, including setting up Board meetings, generating and posting agendas, compiling and distributing agenda materials, and drafting and publishing meeting minutes
  • Tracking Board member terms and appointments
  • Developing and editing letters and other correspondence as directed (to include Quarterly newsletters)
  • Making travel arrangements and processing vouchers
  • Communicating with Board members, licensees, the public and staff

Minimum Qualifications

Good knowledge of

  • Office support functions including word processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents, and reception
  • Researching, compiling, and summarizing data for reports

Experience:

  • Interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies, or services
  • Independently solving problems/performing liaison activities in a work setting
  • Coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements

Minimum Qualifications Specialties:

Experience:

  • Composing official correspondence, reports, and other complex documents
  • Investigative Procedures
  • Taking minutes

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Using Microsoft Access
  • Some knowledge of: State and local government organization structure
