The Idaho Division of Veteran Services (IDVS) is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA, you will play a key role in providing essential healthcare services to our Veteran residents.
Starting wage: $22.22
Shift Differential: 10% for nights
12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Responsibilities:
· Patient care. Answers call lights to determine patients' needs
· Takes and records vital signs
· Provides personal hygiene care
· Lifts, positions, transports, and escorts patients
· Assists patients with walking and other body movements
· Feeds patients who require assistance
· Implements individual patient treatment plans as outlined by nursing supervisor and health-care team
· Records patient care Reports changes in physical or mental status to health-care team Maintains a safe and sanitary
· Maintains a safe and sanitary patient-care environment

Certification:
Possession of Nursing Assistant Certification in Idaho and listed in good standings on the Idaho State Nurse Aide Registry.
OR
Completion of a state-approved nurse aide training or competency evaluation program (NATCEP) and eligible for placement on the State Nurse Aide Registry, which requires:
Verification of competition of a state approved NATCEP;
AND
Verification the skills competency test has been passed;
AND
Verification the written test has been scheduled for placement on the CNA Registry.
Clearance:
The Idaho Division of Veterans Services requires applicants to pass a criminal history background investigation after a conditional offer of employment.
