Purpose of Position:
The Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (IDVR) is seeking a self-motivated, organized, multi-tasker to provide administrative support and customer service to team members throughout the agency. Seated in IDVR’s Central Office located on the Capitol Mall in Boise, this position will interact with the general public and function as part of a work team with high visibility requiring professionalism and collegiality.
Specific Duties:
Performs complex secretarial and administrative assignments.
Designs and composes a variety of executive, sensitive, confidential, official and/or legal letters, reports, documents, and publications.
Researches, analyzes, and compiles information.
Schedules and coordinates a variety of travel arrangements, events, and meetings.
Records and transcribes meeting notes accurately and on a timely basis for distribution.
Maintains and updates information on internal and external websites.
Interprets, applies, and explains complex information such as policies and procedures.
Seeks guidance and/or solves problems independently, as appropriate .
Acts as an agency liaison to vendors, stakeholders, and other members of the public.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in WordPress, SharePoint, Power Point, Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
Documented customer service experience.
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
Ability to type at the rate of 50-60 words per minute.
Ability to multi-task.
Strong organizational skills.
