The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is currently seeking a full-time Health Program Specialist to work with medical providers enrolled in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. The position is located in Boise and requires significant travel within Idaho to conduct compliance reviews, quality improvement visits, and immunization training.
Successful candidates must be able to work autonomously and within teams while gaining extensive knowledge of immunization program policies and procedures, including but not limited to vaccine ordering, distribution, storage and handling, and reporting. Candidates must also display reliability, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and an exceptional ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks.
