Southwest District Health (SWDH) is recruiting two WIC Clinical Assistants to join the dedicated group of public health professionals in the Women, Infant, and Child (WIC) Supplemental Program within the Family and Clinic Services Division.
As a WIC Clinical Assistant and public health employee, you will serve an active role in improving the health of your community. As part of a small, but mighty team, you will screen applicants for program eligibility for WIC. You’ll be responsible for providing basic one-on-one or group nutrition and breastfeeding promotion and support for our clients, issue food benefits, WIC cards, and referrals to internal and external health and community resources following the mission, vision, and values of SWDH.

Our generous benefits package elevates the total compensation for a full-time Clinical Assistant. Our offering transforms the hourly pay range from $17.74 - $20.87/hour to an estimated $28.30 - $32.13/hour, showcasing the value we invest in your well-being and professional growth.

This position requires the completion of Idaho WIC Program Certifier Training Program within 3-6 months from the date of hire.
