Business Analyst

The Idaho Division of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a Business Analyst. This announcement will be used to fill a classified position located at the DHR Central Office in Boise, ID. This position will have the opportunity to collaborate with our HR teams, who support agencies, and our knowledgeable program managers to develop standardized business procedures and resources, ensuring consistency and providing essential support for HR services.

Summary:
Lead the charge to streamline processes, create a dynamic HR resource "Hub," and provide guidance to elevate our systems, driving efficiency and innovation for our team.

Responsibilities:
Support HR Business Practices

  • Lead the charge in streamlining and enhancing our HR business practices and processes
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, HR Operations, SCO, and other stakeholders to ensure successful HR strategies
  • Develop a standardized format for documenting processes, setting the stage for future growth and efficiency

    Create and Maintain an HR Resource "Hub"

    • Lead the creation of a centralized "hub" for HR resources
    • Design our resources to ensure they encompass policy references, manuals, process maps, templates, and more
    • Maintain an ever-evolving database, ensuring our team is equipped with the latest tools and information

    Provide Guidance and Support

    • Lead in maintaining and enhancing our SharePoint
    • Serve as a knowledge base, providing guidance and direction to our team regarding systems and processes
    • Offer support to applicants navigating the HRIS system, ensuring a positive experience

    Minimum Qualifications: 

     Good knowledge of: 

    • Project management
    • Organizational/business analysis and evaluation
    • Process improvement methodology
