This HVAC Inspector position is a great opportunity for a professional who's looking to provide consumer protection and public safety for all Idahoans.
This position is located in Boise, Idaho and the surrounding area. The specific city this position will be based out of will depend upon the residence of the successful applicant. This is a full-time position with full state benefits. The anticipated work schedule is 40 hours per week, with some occasional overtime required.

Physical Activities:
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: analyzing data for the purposes of making recommendations; operating a personal computer; analyzing data and preparing written reports.
Valid driver's license.
Minimum Qualification Specialty:
Certification as both a commercial and residential mechanical inspector in accordance with Idaho Code 54-5021 OR obtaining certification as both a commercial and residential mechanical inspector in accordance with Idaho Code 54-5021 within six (6) months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good knowledge of NFPA 58 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code.
Good knowledge of HVAC installations in accordance with Title 54, Chapter 50 Idaho Code.
Good knowledge of each of the following: International Residential Code Parts V and VI, International Fuel Gas Code and the International Mechanical Code
