The Idaho Division of Veterans Services (IDVS) is ready to add YOU to our amazing team! We are looking for exceptional Certified Nursing Assistants at the State Veterans Home in Boise.

STARTING WAGE: $19.00 PER HOUR!

  • We offer flexible shifts, full-time, part-time and PRN positions.
  • Evening shift employees receive an additional 10% shift differential!
  • Night shift employees receive an additional 15% shift differential!
  • We guarantee hours to full-time employees regardless of census!

Responsibilities:

  • Performs personal nursing care for elderly residents.
  • Determines resident needs and takes and records vital signs.
  • Provides personal hygiene care and maintains a safe and sanitary resident-care environment.
  • Lifts, positions, transports, and escorts residents and assists with walking and other body movements. 
  • Feeds residents who require assistance and implements individual resident treatment plans as outlined by supervisor. 
  • Records resident care, reporting changes in physical or mental status to health-care team. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Certification:

Possession of Nursing Assistant Certification and listed on the Idaho State Nurse Aide Registry


Clearance:

The Idaho Division of Veterans Services requires applicants to pass a criminal history background investigation after a conditional offer of employment.
